Green Businesses
businesses follow green practices such as alternative energy, climate change, conservation, environmental health, fair trade, green building, and sustainability.
Over the course of the month, I will discuss different green businesses and how they are helping the environment one day at a time. I will also discuss what non-green businesses can do to become greener. If you are looking for valuable information on how to save the planet by making your business eco-friendly, please check back here often to find suggestions. If you have any questions, please write comments and I will respond to them promptly.
Before I get into green businesses, let me tell you a bit about myself. I graduated from Allegany High School in Cumberland, Maryland in 2002. After I graduated, I started attending Allegany College of Maryland where I received nine associate degrees ranging from Mathematics to Computer Programming. I was in the Mu Alpha Theta, Phi Theta Kappa, the Honors Program, Student Council, and many other elite groups. I was one of the only people to make the All-MD Academic Team. I worked in the Math Lab while I attended college. After graduation, I did freelance programming for quite some time.
I created a real estate website based in Holland, Michigan where I met a good friend, which later became my business partner for a company called Green-Watch, LLC. My company helps connect people with green businesses, organizations, and events. You can find green products, green news, and even join our green forum. Green Watch helps educate consumers about going green and we practice fair trade. We have over 50 green businesses listed at this time from all over the United States. We are very knowledgeable about green businesses and what it means to go green. We are more than delighted to share this knowledge with you. Please check back here tomorrow for a special treat - you will get to hear about how Google is Going Green.
